Liming: For me, art creation is similar to the process of pouring water of different kinds into numerous empty cups. The emptier the cups are, the larger space for creative thoughts. It is just the “emptiness” that decides the depth of water. Whereas the high-low of the water level – the expression content will form a kind of rhythm-like relations, one growing strength relation that I have been pursuing all the time. The rhythm-like relations is where my interests lie, and the “emptiness” is the supporting point.
