Liu Yin: I am a fatalist. I believe that the course all things will take has been set long ago. From the perspective of mysticism (Creator) or the perspective of multidimensional cosmology (everything has been predestined, it is just being revealed), both of them indicate that everything in this world we are experiencing now has already been predetermined. Our past, present and future have been engraved in the tombstone of time. For each individual, time is just the medium through which he or she appears. The elements of time interweave with each other and interfere with each other to weave the macrocosm and microcosm of every moment together. The juxtaposition between universality and individuality has long been a subject of artists’ interest, and is the inevitably a theme in my creative process.
