Luo Qiang: Works of the Future Citizens shows the conception of the artist that for our humankind evolving from the Citizens to Futural Citizens, among which being given more and more powers to participate in their major or non-major historical events that are closely related with themselves, choosing to change or not to change the historical cut-off time point, so that our mankind could readily select a best historical advancement program from so many parallel worlds created by the Future Citizens. It seems to be backward to the question: Is the world we live in the best one? The Future Citizens isn’t a works that pursues certain international mainstream topic. On the contrary, at these struggling days I hope through this to discuss some problems, including the environment, energy, globalization, human mechanization and so on.
