Zhang Tingqun: Nowadays when we look at one’s painting, we can’t classify it by focusing on its configuration or single style. We could only try to use our plausible simulation system to measure the presence of one phase in a spiritual activity, in order to determine the distance between us and coordinates of ourselves. Then this cognitive experience would become our own, which is by no means only aesthetic, neither knowledge, but something like ‘spiritual patch that is similar to life, maintaining our own balance and fulfillment.
