Inspired by the impact on creatures caused by serious pollution, the jewelry ornament I made is an unknown “creature”. I adopted mechanical aesthetics as its basic framework and drew a 3D model after extracting, splitting and reorganizing the characteristics of the creature’s variations. I hope when visitors try on this piece of jewelry that they can be aware of the potential ecological crisis behind its beautiful appearance. The theme of this work is environmental protection.

The work explored and studied the defects caused by the pollution from industrial production. It imagined a new creature based on the principles of mechanical aesthetics and the method of dismantling and reorganizing to restore the original mobility and development trend of creatures. The work is to alert people that they will have to pay an even heavier price than life for their lives of excessive consumption. Finally, I analyzed the feelings brought by people when they appreciate interesting objects. I hope that my art can make an effective contribution to environmental protection.
