Fleeting time passes through our fingers and leaves us with a broken heart. But time seems not to exist in our memory, like an image too perfect to be remembered, like ripples doomed to vanish.

I am fond of photography. A photo is a mirror that can reveal the traces of the photographer’s heart. I hope I can pry into my soul through my pictures, for I never take pictures for other people for any purpose. What I do is only to present my feelings through photos to let people feel, to feel what I felt—pursuing straight lines and curves; pursuing light and shade; pursuing twinkling beauty nearby or far away…

I love images for I see them as narcotized and pinned down there, like butterflies, one by one…
