It is not the moment that photography freezes. What we really grasp is the things that are vanishing. Things continue after the shooting. When I realized that the person or objects or things in my lens have never terminated, photography has become a way for me to understand things. Through the understanding of people who are photographed, I subjectively re-shaped my work, and I tried to capture the reality. My works finally show a state between reality and falsehood. The topic of my work is not the collection of facts because the fact itself will never provide more interesting points. It is important that we choose from them.

"Room", is a series of works which show that each of us has a protection wall. There are different stories that happen in this shelter every day. In your room, even if it is empty, it will show the state of your life. But how many people dare to face their own ridicule, helplessness, and poverty? So, I chose to perform in another way, bypassing the face-to-face assault and being a little more relaxed and fun.

The “Quality” series of photographs were taken in the old districts of Wuhan, Hubei province. These photos are just a normal part of life. Time leaves all the traces on these walls.
