Zhang received his master’s degree from the School of Experimental Art, the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in 2018; he currently works and lives in Beijing. He is the founder of the independent space—ON SPACE. His work is inspired by the social phenomenon generated by the development of the internet. Using various mediums such as installations and videos, he reconstructs the structure of the social images in his work to reproduce it from his unique perspective.
