The process of reflecting upon the "inner world" is closely related to my creative experience at different stages. My “Act without due consideration ends up in failure” series is what I really started to look for my own artistic path. When i created the series "So Near So Far", I realized the existence of the "inner world;" it is a world that belongs only to myself but remains untouchable. In a spontaneous realization, I saw an expanse of desolate cleanness, like huge silver mountains covered in moonlight, and I was instantly shocked by the spotless magnificence of the world in front of me, struck by the infinite loneliness under the power of time. I drew out that experience and divided the various "dimensions" and "latitudes" with black and white geometric patterns. If "dimension" represents different opposing spaces, such as whole and fractured, virtual and real, gathered and scattered, black and white, etc, then latitude would represent cultural differences, aesthetic oppositions and mental contrasts. In the same visual context, in order to achieve a broader extension of the internal force, came the series of “Dimensional and Latitudinal Boundaries.”
