More

For me, I use my artworks to record my life, record the disappearing city scenes I have seen in the different countries, record my lost loved ones, and record every feeling that has appeared in my life. I record these events because I want to encourage more patience for others, the world, and myself.

I use the printmaking and paper-making techniques to record and restore urban culture, a culture that is disappearing. I am interested in exploring the distinct urban cultures in different countries or cities. With the expanding city, the urban culture is on brink of destruction. Through these techniques, I am documenting and reviving these tiny sparks of culture, which I believe to be the root and true soul of the city. Through my artwork, I hope to create a dialogue about current social issues regardless of good or bad. As an artist with conscience, I would like to invite the viewers to look introspectively and to consider these issues.
