Recent creations have increasingly made me feel that the picture needs to present its own state, draw its own feelings, and that there are no emotions in works that are not sincere to my personal feelings. The content of the painting must first impress the creator, and then can it others. The works have recently been centered around some landscapes around Xinjiang, especially Kashgar, where honest villagers and clean streets are deeply attractive. There are many buildings in my recent oil paintings, and the characters on the screen appear in the form of "imaginary" figures or silhouettes, because I want to express the idea of "faceless people" and "a thousand faces."
