My practice can be divided into two directions: literary works and visual works. In the creation of words, I infiltrate the inscriptions in Chinese art into the pictures. The inscriptions have an extraordinary mission in both Chinese and Western cultures. They are the performers of the "commemorative" and the "lofty". The world discovers clues of the past in the traces of the "steles" that carry the temperature of history and convey the artistic characteristics of the Chinese characters. I attach texts and graphics to the canvas, trying to establish a magnetic field that resonate with the ancient history. When facing the creation of painting theme, the surrealist style is the crossbeam of my visual system, constructing its own mode of seeing and thinking, gradually building up the space of my work. I put objective things in the picture, trying to create a fanciful effect within the two-dimensional images, replacing the observable world with illusory scenes, so as to destroy the stale and helpless reality. Behind the seemingly quiet works, there is an anxiety for "crisis".
