2013 Art Nova 100 started its annual program in 798 art district in Beijing with a grand opening ceremony at 798 Art Factory. For this year’s opening exhibition, over 360 artworks of 120 Chinese and Korean young contemporary artists were shown in three different exhibition spaces. 100 young Chinese artists were presented in 798 Art Factory and Phoenix Art Palace Beijing, and two special exhibitions of 10 Korean artists and 10 Video artists from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan were shown in SZ Art Center.

To understand and research the trend of young artists, a variety of lectures and forum took place as a part of the program, and “BAZAAR Art Appreciation Party” also led a lot of people from different field to come and witness the future of Asian contemporary art.
