Beijing-based independent curator and critic, Fu founded the Space Station Gallery in 2009, where she serves as artistic director. Fu is also executive editor-in-chief of Fine Arts Literature magazine. Having obtained a master's degree from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, Fu is a visiting scholar at Peking University and visiting curator at Australia's 24HR ART. Her experience also includes working at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, and writing and editing for art magazines like Beauty, Contemporary Art News, and Contemporary Art. She has also served as art director of T Art Center. Since 2003, Fu has planned numerous contemporary art exhibitions at Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen art museums, art centers and galleries. Fu served as judge at the Festival Photo Levallois in France and for the Pierre Huber New Media Art Creation Prize.
