1992 Visiting student at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Compouldian, Madrid

He is now a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association. (Served as the dean of the School of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts)

As a practitioner of contemporary art, Liu Qinghe has always been committed to expanding the expression space of ink figure painting, and actively advocated the involvement of traditional ink figure painting in contemporary real life and artistic life. With more than 30 years of unremitting efforts, Liu Qinghe has created a large number of works, which has a certain influence in the field of contemporary ink painting creation.
