Liu Chunfeng

Doctor of Art Theory, researcher (professor), Deputy Director of Exhibition Department of National Art Museum of China, art historian, curator, critic, delegate of Beijing Municipal People's Congress, The Organization Department of the Central Committee selected and approved the 2019 National "Cultural Celebrity and four batch" of "Ten Thousand Plan · Young Top talent" (the highest level of talent selection project at the national level), theoretical member of the China Artists Association, member of the Theoretical Art Committee of the Beijing Artists Association, and member of the China Literature and Art Critics Association. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) and successively obtained his bachelor's degree, master's degree and master's degree.

In 2013, he received the certificate of Completion of Art Management Leadership Training jointly issued by the Ministry of Culture, the National Art Museum of China, the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Media School of the Free University of Berlin. Since 2007, he has worked at the National Art Museum of China, engaged in academic research, art criticism and exhibition planning.

Around 2000, Liu Chunfeng began to engage in a large number of exhibition planning and art criticism work, and on behalf of the country, he planned more than 100 contemporary art projects and academic activities in important art museums in Brussels, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Busan, Rome, Lyon, Vienna, Berlin, New York, Turin and other places. He has paid attention to and participated in the development ecology of Chinese modern and contemporary art for a long time, among which the more important exhibition projects are:

"Floating - Selected Chinese Contemporary Art" at the National Gallery of Korea in 2007, "Upward - Selected Chinese Contemporary Art" at the National Gallery of Singapore in 2008, "Facing Reality - Selected Chinese Contemporary Art" at the National Gallery of Contemporary Art in Vienna in 2008, and "European Center for Contemporary Art in Belgium in 2009 Under the framework of "China Year", "Mirror - Chinese Contemporary Women's Art Exhibition", in 2010 to celebrate the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, "In the City - Selected Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Art" at Meridian International Center, Washington, USA; "@what - Exhibition of the New Generation of Chinese Art" at the National Art Council of Korea Museum of Art in 2013; and the special section on Asia at the 2014 Busan Biennale. In addition, she was selected as the final candidate for the China Pavilion of the Venice Biennale in 2017, and became the curator of the China Pavilion of the 12th Curitiba International Biennale of Curitiba Meyer National Gallery in Curitiba, Brazil in 2017. In 2017, she also curated the key exhibition project of the 15th Asia Art Festival held at the Ningbo Art Museum in China: In 2018, he curated "Purification: A New Generation of Chinese Art" held in the Museum of Oriental Art Foundation in Portugal, and in 2020 he curated important exhibition projects of Suzhou Jinji Lake Biennale, etc.

In addition, she has written a large number of critical articles and art reviews for national core journals, edited and participated in editing more than 60 albums and anthologies related to modern and contemporary art, and published five personal academic monographs.
